yeah. Aedan got the crap knocked out of her this time. and i figured the bruises and wounds would still be around because it likely wouldn't take him that long to get there. especially if Aedan's name got dropped. to be honest, i'm not sure how fast these things should heal because it isn't like there's any actual time listed in canon. just that the marks help accelerate healing. so i may be playing fast and loose with it. if i am, i don't really care. Lillian and Rafael weren't supposed to be after thoughts, and it felt like they were with the way they were added in. they were supposed to be mentioned in conjunction with the rest of JC's people being there. i just... spaced on it. so. Zerbrowski to the rescue. Dr. Lillian absolutely would notice little things like broken wrists. and Rafael offered her his coat because he's one of the taller men there.
i feel so bad for Rhia in that bit! i really do. but she was also the best one to do that with, because i think she's the one who would have felt the most guilt over having such thoughts. i do make it up to her, though. honest!
i rather liked the idea of the kitty pile at the end.(to be honest, i didn't even think about Jason. he probably should have been there, too. how big are those beds anyway?) and you're absolutely right. Rhia is probably comfortable with a certain level of casual nudity. much easier to get in touch with Mother Earth when she's naked and all.
