i've got... vague ideas about the search. more solid ideas about how they bring it all together. but you'll see that later, so some suspense is a good thing. ;)
Dare's hard on herself because she kind of carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. especially when it comes to her chosen family. so she feels if she can't protect them, she's failed. she feels like she should have killed Fitzroy and she didn't. so she failed.
he'll get there. eventually. i'm not even sure how much more i've got to write. but he will get there.
