i can absolutely see Haley trying to spare Scott because, as you say, she's sure he's going to go back to Jean when they go home. why burden him with something that isn't his problem? but of course he won't let it go. that's just not who he is and, after so much time together, i'm sure he's very adept at reading her moods.

i think that might be a reasonable fear for her. given the situation she's in, it is very much a possibility
that she has to consider. let's hope that Johnny isn't going to be a dick about it all. but only time will tell.

there is definitely something going on there. i'm sure it will come to light eventually. we'll have to see about that.

i think Scott is fully aware of just how much Haley's family means to her. and i cannot see him being a dick about them where his child is concerned. they're all her children and they're all part of the family.
