Dare has been trying to keep her emotions safe since the whole thing started. and had Sinister paired her with anyone else, she probably would have been able to keep pushing it all down. it was unfortunate for her that Sinister paired her with Remy. because he has been determined since her first confession to make her understand that he wasn't lying. she just can't picture him being in love with anyone other than Morgan. it is fortunate that he broke down her walls. it is unfortunate that he left them a crumbled mess because i suspect she's going to be raw for a while. but he fully intends to be there to help her, though. so... we'll see what happens.
Sinister is absolutely a creep. and yes, you will absolutely see what he's been up to at a later date. so just hold on tight.
