i so very much enjoyed writing Jean-Claude letting Bert know that he wasn't going to be able to use Aedan to make money (as i told Cat, i know that the author who shall remain nameless wrote it in that the employees were the owners and Bert a public face, but... fuck canon. i make my own canon!) as if she's some side show freak or something. i honestly think Aedan hasn't figured out yet that she's allowed to tell people no. too many years of living with her sperm donor imprinted upon her the fact that it wasn't a good idea to upset him. so... we'll let Jean-Claude do it for her until she realizes she's allowed to do so on her own.
i just love Asher so much and i hate that he's constantly been used as some kind of prop to show how progressive she is. "Look. My extremely cishet female character is totally cool with letting another man in the same bed as her and her main lover.(But she won't do more than kiss another woman because, like, ew! Gay girl cooties!" or whatever. we'll see what happens with the Anubis Foundation. should be a wild ride.
i'm sure Rhia can figure something out. she's a smart one, Rhia is. read on to see how she manages it!
