i absolutely love Janika's mom. seriously. that part just really kind of flowed and its plain to see where Janika gets a lot of her personality and attitude. and, at this point, i've pretty much said "fuck what's possible in canon" and i've gone my own way. and, to be honest, i really am liking what i've done with it.
