Oho! So it's been a couple of days. I thought this'd been freshly posted. :-) In any case, this definitely has the mythic quality you sought for it, and the writing is up to your usual (high) standards. If this a prologue to establish the givens for the story itself, then this is certainly rarin' to go. Looking forward to more!
