i have so, so much love for Duke. i really do. the team was supposed to be a one off deal. but that little bit they were in that fic was more than enough for them to grow on me. i'm still planning on backstory for all of them. if i can ever get my brain into the right frame of mind. and, honestly, Dare is giving me so many fits. i swear, i am trying to help her. i really am. but she is fighting me at every goddamn step and, honestly, i'm ready to do drastic things! maybe someday, she'll straighten out. maybe. Duke is absolutely correct to question all the shit at this point.

yup. drowning their sorrows together. they can be fun at times. i really do kind of like Remy being kind of tipsy, on his way to drunk and just letting everything go the way he did. i feel like that isn't something he allows himself very often. but yes. they need to start doing better.

oh, Duke is absolutely all of those things. and probably more. he's adopted Purple Team and now they're stuck with him.

i really do love how Sam is just... rolling with it. then again, his mother had quite the bunch of kids, so its is entirely possible he's mildly familiar with this kind of thing. i'm sure Sam will make sure that she gets all the rest she needs. he's so head over heels.
