Scott is absolutely a mother hen. just not generally overt about it. special circumstances and all that. i can't imagine why you'd think they're all pregnant. i mean... i could surprise you.

i really like how they play off each other. i think, with the weight of the teams taken off his shoulders (even if its just in some small way for a short amount of time) gives him the chance to breathe and just... be Scott. especially since he doesn't have to deal with his powers. Haley is absolutely trying to distract him and he's figured her out, so he's not having it.

you know, it is such a challenge to write this fic, which is so heavy on the sex aspect, and not do a whole bunch of sex. and STILL keep it from being boring and rote! i don't know what is up with me and a smutty fic that isn't actually super smutty. also, he sort of did. just... not in the conventional way.

Dare is... let's face it. she's special. in so many not good ways. he absolutely knows. he and Dare do not have a child together. but he's been around her and Morgan and all of the other girls. so he absolutely knows what to look for. but he also knows if he even mentions the word, Dare will just go deeper inside of herself. so..

the anger, surprisingly, is more at herself and the situation. because she knows what's going on as well as he does. and she's using it as a way to pretend, for just a little longer, that she's wrong.

so, Sinister being in their room came to me as i was writing Dare's part. i'd like to think that the implication is he showed up to everyone's room. i just didn't think about it until i was almost done and... yeah. hindsight. so i like to think that they all got a visit. we only saw the one, though. he's absolutely monitoring everything and i'm pretty sure he doesn't need the test. its for them.

we'll see if she lets Remy in. but that girl... sighs i have my doubts
